From folder to overlay
This is another new feature that I think would be really useful. Instead of always building or creating an overlay from scatch, it would be nice to be able to pass in a folder name. The folder would get zipped up and then deleted. Then instead of going directly to local the folder would get unzipped in /mnt/local and a symbolic link would go from the current directly to /mnt/local. I think the commands would possibly look like the following:
$ ls
myfile myfolder otherfolder
$ overlay --create --folder myfolder
$ ls
myfile myfolder.tgz otherfolder
$ overlay --activate --folder myfolder
$ ls
myfile <myfolder> myfolder.tgz otherfolder
Where is just a symbolic link to a folder in /mnt/local/
. Deactivation would zip back up the mnt/local folder and remove the symbolic link. This solution may not need any .overlayrc files. It seems fairly clean. Maybe we could do a better command structure as well.
